Getting ready for the holidays!

     Sunday we took some time to get ready for the holidays! We cleaned up our family room and made room for our tree! I haven't had a real tree for a few years now but maybe one day I will get one. For now the one I got years ago works great. We took out our Christmas things and started to get everything setup! I put the tree together and Quinn helped with the branches. Then we got the lights strung up and started putting ornaments on it!  The tree took a little while because the lights aren't easy but we got it!

     We then hung our stockings up and the garland on the mantel. The whole room looked so good! I can't wait to get ready by putting presents under the tree. Christmas is such a good holiday because you have this whole month to get ready and just enjoy it. We like to setup right after Thanksgiving so we can enjoy the lights and the tree all month. We cleaned up and put the empty boxes down stairs and we looked at our beautiful family room!

    It was nice to do this Sunday, we all did a different part and had so much fun in the process. Quinn did a great job helping do she helped with the lights and she did a great job hanging ornaments. Like Halloween we all just get to relax and have fun in the spirit of the holiday. The next few weeks we now have to get some shopping done and get Quinns letter to Santa! I can't wait to update everyone!
